The Story Behind the Design
The Harvest towel features a motif that merges wheat symbols with waterways passing through them - a tribute to agriculture and water in the cycle of life. In weaving tradition, zigzags represent waterways, taking their roots from ancient Anatolian mythological stories. The wheat symbol, universally recognized as a sign of abundance, life, and fertility, pays homage to the Harvest Moon - the full moon closest to the Autumn Equinox.
